PATORANKING, REMINISCE, DJ TOP, OTHERS THRILL FANS AT ARS FINAL

Participants at the final of the season four, Airtel Rising Stars U-17 Tournament were treated to the best of music with live performances from dancehall artistes, Patoranking and Reminisce among others. 
The tournament which had a full complement of other genres of entertainment notably music with trending musical vibes mastered from the stable of DJ Top.
It was however on the final day the fans Reminisce was the first to set alight the stage, wearing a blonde-tinted hairdo and a pair of dark shades on a blue jean pant. The high point of his performance came with the hit song, Daddy ft Davido from the album, Alaga Ibile, which he released in November 2013.
Patoranking,  was the last to perform on the day. His hit songs ‘Alubarika’ and ‘Girlie o’ performed on the beat of his traditional reggae-dancehall style were quite at home with the fans as they sang along with two fans eventually making their way up the stage to provide him a dancing company.
Meanwhile, it was the team from Ilorin that emerged the 2014 National Champion of the Airtel Rising Stars U-17 Tournament after it defeated Abuja 1-0 in the male final match decided at the Yabatech Sports Complex, Lagos on last week.
In the female category, Port Harcourt successfully defended the title for the fourth season running. It defeated Lagos 4-2 via penalties after a barren draw during regulation time.
The two champions would represent Nigeria at the weeklong Africa Championship to be hosted by Gabon in the last week of the month of August.
The ARS U-17 tournament, a pan-African initiative of Airtel Africa, is designed to provide support for the development of football talents across Nigeria. It aims at discovering talented male and female footballers under the age of 17 and providing them with platform to gain football skills and develop into professional footballers.
