On-again, off-again pastor/rapper, Ma$e has delved back into the music industry, following a failed career in the ministry.
Mase who “retired” from rap in 1999 to pursue a career in the ministry, El Elyon International Church with thousands of followers split into two churches in Atlanta and Phoenix, preaching the virtues of marriage and family values had it all until.
Well, unable to practice what he preached, Mase and his wife divorced,earlier this year, causing most of his flock to flee in anger, hence his return to the rap game.
The rapper is believed to be playing regular rap gigs around L.A.
As for those stalwart loyalists, well Mase says… screw them.
