RHEMA OSBOURNE SHINES AT ‘STAR THE WINNER IS’

It was indeed a night of heart-warming and exciting performances as the road to becoming N10 million richer and a brand new car owner got tougher for contestants during the fourth episode of ‘Star The Winner Is’.
After 10 rigorous performances with contestants desperately battling for their voices to shine against their opponents, 23-year-old Rhema Osbourne emerged victorious securing a well-deserved spot in the semi finals.
With an amazing vocal range, Rhema took to powerful deliveries of Chris Brown’s Don’t Judge Me, Liquideep’s Fairy tale  and Lionel Richie’s classic, Hello and proved why he was the jury’s favourite.
By winning the episode Rhema now joins Philip, Brenda, and Happiness from previous three episodes in the race for N10million and a brand new car.
Other contestants from the episode, Temisan Francis, Haitee Olajorin, Micheal Emeka, Uju Prince and Treasure Clement also rendered quality performances but not enough to impress the 101-jury members.
“It is better to be a small fish in river Niger than to be a big dog in Calabar,” Uti Nwachukwu, show host, gave this amusing but very valid advice to two contestants during the last round of the episode as he offered them money to either leave the show or wait for jury’s result to determine the winner of the duel round.
This advice came in very handy when contestants, Osborne and Clement after an intense duel were torn between walking away with N400,000 or waiting to see the jury results.
Treasure, however, lost the round and sadly lost an opportunity to walk away with N400,000.
‘Star The Winner Is’ is a singing game show in which singing only seven songs could make someone very rich.
