American Singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams seized top spot in Britain’s singles chart on Sunday December 30th with his track “Happy”, ousting talent show winner Sam Bailey after only a week at No. 1.
The song, which features in the soundtrack to animation, “Despicable Me 2?, has achieved massive sales of nearly 107,000 copies in the past week, the Official Charts Company said, handing Williams his third British No.1 in 2013.
