We just might get to see a different side to Rapper, Ja rule. The hip-hop star has recently landed a reality show deal with MTV along with his family titled ‘Follow the rules’.
In “Follow the Rules,” the entertainer along with his wife, Aisha and his three kids as well as his mother and mother-in-law try to show their traditional lifestyle.
The Grammy award nominee has two teenage sons, Jeffery Jr. and Jordan, and his eldest daughter Brittney, visiting the home during her sophomore year of college. Set as executive producers of the half an hour series are Queen Latifah, Jeffrey Atkins and Christian Sarabia.
Ja Rule expressed his excitement over the deal and was tweeting and retweeting the news to fans. He said in a statement that read: “I am truly honored and excited to be partnering with MTV and 51 Minds,” Ja. “Family tradition will never be the same, bitch!” According to MTV President of Programming, Susanne Daniels; “Ja Rule is the modern day reality rap star version of Bill Cosby’s role from The Cosby Show. He embraces a unique parenting style with his teenage kids that feel fresh and funny. We’re excited to be in business with him and his delightful family.”
