Burna Boy’s ‘My Race’ has been announced as leading this week’s
MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 chart, replacing D’Banj’s ‘Don’t tell Me
Nonsense’ at the number one position.
This week’s official Naija chart featured Beat FM OAP Toolz
lounging with VJ Ehis for the 30th edition of the music chart show.
This week’s biggest climbers were Timaya and Illbliss, who each
moved up one place to number 4 and number 9 respectively, with ‘Ekoloma Demba’
and ‘I’m Sorry.’
Skuki, Olamide and Dr. Sid all remain locked in the same
positions as last week, while former number one ‘E Mi Ni Baller’ by Chidinma
remained in the number three position for the second week running.
The
Official Naija Top 10 weekly is put together by a selected judging panel of
Nigerian broadcasters, music specialists working with MTV Base to pick the
winners and losers in the week’s chart.
On the panel are Onos Ovueraye (Bella Naija.com), DJ Humility
(Rhythm FM), DJ Jimmy Jatt, DJ Xclusive (Cool FM), Big Time (Rhythm FM), DJ
Caise (The Beat FM), Toolz (The Beat FM) and OsagieAlonge (Nigerian
Entertainment Today).
