Gunmen suspected to be militants have invaded the Igbolomu and Ishawo areas of Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos State.
eyewitnesses who escaped from one of the invaded areas said the gunmen from the Niger Delta came through water channel since yesterday and have been shooting sporadically.
The heavy shootings from last night has left several people dead, eyewitnesses said.
Also, the troubled communities of Elegbete, Imushin, Muti and environs of Ita-Oluwo, Ogijo, last night witnessed heavy shootings by the militants.
