Less than 48 hours after 41 Nigerians were deported from the United States of America for various offences, the Spanish Government today also deported 11 Nigerians who are alleged to have committed various offences in their country.
The deportees, comprising of 10 males and one female, arrived at the Hajj Camp area of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos at 7.10 p.m. They were received by officers of the Nigerian Immigration Service, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency and the Lagos Airport Police Command.
According to the spokesperson of the command, DSP Joseph Alabi, they were deported for allegedly committing immigration-related offences and other criminal acts in their host country.
