LA FILM-MAKER CLAIMS SHE STARTED #BRINGBACKOURGIRLS HASHTAG

The #BringBackOurGirls hashtag has been the trending topic on social media for the past two weeks.
#BringBackOurGirls hashtag which is a campaign calling for the return of the nearly 300 abducted Chibok teenage girls has been tweeted over 1.3 million times.
A Los Angeles based filmmaker and mother of two, Ramaa Mosley is claiming she started the trending hashtag. She said this in an interview with 'ABC Nightline' few days ago, she claims she heard the news about the abducted girls while driving in her car.
“I started weeping and I raced home, I looked on the Internet and I found some news in Africa that confirmed it, but couldn't find anything else in the United States.”
This according to Mosley prompted her to start the call on twitter.
Don't mean to bust her 'tiny little' bubble but she did not start the #BringBackOurGirls hashtag, a Nigerian lawyer twitter handle, @Abu_Aaid real name, 'Ibrahim M. Abdullahi' was infact the first to tweet the hashtag.
He was at an event in Port Harcourt on 23 April, where the former Minister of Education Obiageli Ezekwesili was giving a talk, @Abu_Aaid tweeted her words using the hashtag #BringBackOurGirls.
But again does it matter who started the hashtag? We just need our girls back…. #BringBackOurGirls
