'THERE'S A LOT OF PULL-HER-DOWN SYNDROME IN NIGERIA' MO' ABUDU

Mo' Abudu appears on CNN's Leading Women specials where she talks about her journey into the world of TV talk shows and more.
Described as 'Africa's Oprah', the 49-year-old talks about how she started her own talk show without any prior experience in broadcasting and setting up the two billion Naira cable network, Ebony Life TV.
'There's a lot of pull-her-down syndrome in our society and that needs to stop. We need to be our sister's keeper. For me that's a very important message I need to get out there Empower women, empower this next generation', Abudu explains.
