SEAN TIZZLE: “I LOVE SEXY GIRLS, THEY SCREAM WHEN I PERFORM”

Fast rising singer, Morihanfen Oluwaseun Oluwabamidele aka ‘Sean Tizzle’ has risen fast to heights he himself never presumed possible.
Within a few months of the release of his single, Sho Lee, Sean Tizzle has been reckoned as one of the hottest acts of this present year.
In a recent interview he opens up about his successes and his private life.
“I faced a lot of challenges trying to get a record deal. Playing free gigs was a normal thing for me. Sometimes I even paid to perform in shows but I think it comes with the terrain. Even right now, I’m still facing lots of challenges. Though, there was no time I felt like walking away from music, the experience could be frustrating. There were times I was stranded and had to beg people for money on the streets just to make it to the studio for a recording.
“I remember the first time my record label, D Tunes called me up for a recording. I did not have a dime on me because I was stark broke. I had to beg for money on the road but nobody was willing to assist me,”
He talks about the success of his first single Sho Lee“Sho Lee means it is hard in Yoruba and Ko lee means it’s not hard. The message is for all the sexy girls out there who are pretending and ‘forming’ to be what they are not. A lot of girls are not true to themselves.
They think they are what they are not but at the end of the day, when you probe them, you discover that they are shallow. But I still love and respect them; I love sexy girls. They scream when I perform.
I remember being at Elegushi Beach at the very beginning to promote Sho Lee. After my performance, there was this lady who was all over me. She just pounced on me and gave me the kiss of my life screaming, ‘I love your music.’! That was when I knew I was finally getting there” When asked if he has a woman in his life, he says,
“No, not for now. I’m married to my music. I am a one-man Mopol and I’m not in any relationship. My ideal woman must be beautiful, shapely, sexy and intelligent, and above all, she must have the fear of God.”

DERBY DELIGHT FOR POYET AS SUNDERLAND WIN AT LAST

Sunderland climbed off the bottom of the Premier League table with a 2-1 home win over arch-rivals Newcastle in the north-east derby on Sunday.
Fabio Borini’s blistering 18-yard shot six minutes from time saw the Black Cats to a first league win of the season, following seven defeats and a draw, after Steven Fletcher’s fifth-minute header had given them the lead.
Victory gave Sunderland manager Gus Poyet a win in his first game in charge at the Stadium of Light, since replacing Paolo di Canio, but was not good enough to lift the Black Cats out of the bottom three.
Fans of the Wearside club will need no reminding that one of di Canio’s few successes during his tempestuous time in charge was a derby win over Newcastle but this result at least gave Sunderland hope of avoiding the drop.
And Poyet, who has now won 10 of his 17 matches against Newcastle as both player and manager, said it could change the course of Sunderland’s season.
“Everything is big today,” said Poyet. “It’s a first win against our biggest rivals in our (his) first home game. The fans are going to be delighted and the players will be relieved. We needed this.
“When I saw four minutes added time, I nearly had a heart attack. Nothing is going to be easy, it’s about effort.“(The introduction of Borini) was a moment when we needed to take risk. What a goal, the stadium nearly came down.
“For teams in our situation, when you concede a goal the players would hold for a result. We were talking in the week about not stopping. Conceding goals happens, I’m still looking for a clean sheet and from here we need to build.”
The Uruguayan added: “It gives us everything. We needed something. Now there are no excuses, we can go next week and win another game and continue to improve.
“This will change our season. I’m sure the players will be even more together and the fans will look forward to the next game. We have done nothing, it was nice for us and the fans but we need to keep winning games.”
Delighted Italy international Borini praised Poyet’s impact by saying: “Lots of the work we’ve done is because of him.
“He came in and gave us the enjoyment we needed and obviously the football. So now it’ll take a little bit of time to improve again, but that’s a great first step.”
Newcastle manager Alan Pardew was left lamenting his side’s lack of concentration after the build-up to Borini’s goal saw the ball worked forward from a quickly-taken free-kick just inside Sunderland’s half.
“I thought we were the better team. We just switched off and he (Borini) has hit it true. We are really disappointed,” Pardew said.In Sunday’s other Premier League matches, Chelsea can go level on points with second-placed Liverpool if they beat fellow title contenders Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham will look to get back amongst the top four by defeating Hull while Swansea are at home to West Ham.

CHRIS BROWN WAS ARRESTED THIS MORNING

Chris Brown allegedly beat the crap out of someone early Sunday morning. Per the TMZ, the “Get It Shorty” singer was arrested in Washington, DC for allegedly attacking a man outside The W Hotel. Brown supposedly got into an argument with another man and allegedly started punching him. While details are sketchy, police confirm that the singer, 24, was taken into custody and charged with felony assault. Another man, Christopher Hollosy, believed to be Brown’s bodyguard, was also arrested. For those keeping record, Brown is still on probation for the Rihanna incident and, should the felony charges stick, he could be in violation of the terms of his probation.

‘SKELEWU’ SAGA: DAVIDO, DIRECTOR BLAST CRITICS

After dropping two music videos and one instructional dance video, Davido’s “Skelewu” is still the talk of the town. This is not because it’s one of Nigeria’s biggest pop songs of the year but simply because of it’s multiple videos.
During the week, Davido tried to dispel the criticisms trailing the video on his Twitter account. He wasn’t the only person who has reacted to the criticisms. The director of the final video, Moe Musa has also reacted. Overwhelmed by critique on Twitter when the video dropped last Monday, Musa tweeted, “Love it or hate it, it’s your issue not mine… All you haters out there are full of s**t, lol.”
Before now, reports said, Davido was not pleased with what Moe Musa shot in the UK for his hit single and planned to shoot another video with Clarence Peters”.
He was said to have already paid Clarence Peters the sum of N7million to shoot a perfect video for him.

I’VE DISAPPOINTED CRITICS OF MY MUSICAL CAREER – EGO

Singer Ego Ihenacho Ogbaro believes music has made her a deeper person. The petite lady was the only female vocalist with Lagbaja’s band until she left to pursue a solo career in 2007. She has backed-up for the masked musician on several tracks including ‘Konko Below’ and ‘Nothing For You’ but her soulful wailing in ‘Never far Away’, a track in Lagbaja’s ‘Africano’ album, remains indelible in the minds of fans. Ego spoke with Saturday Vanguard recently about her life after split from Lagbaja
Enjoy.
Who was Ego as a child?
I was a very stubborn child and I am still very stubborn (chuckles) because I always wanted my way. It was my way or no way. Although I was a lively child, I didn’t let things get to me or weigh me down. I easily get angry and I think I am just myself.
How has it been since you left Lagbaja?
I always knew that I wanted to sing and it was just a matter of time before the dream manifested.
What I wanted to do was totally different from what I was doing with Lagbaja. It was the same music thing but in a different way. Yes, people would have their doubts and not even know what direction I was going.
It was a step that I had to take, something I had to prove and had to show the world that I knew what I wanted and I was moving in the right direction. So, it’s natural for people to feel that way and have doubts. So far, it’s been good.
How long did you work with him?
I worked with him as a solo artiste for 12years and I learnt a lot from him, like hard work and not compromising.
At what point did you realise that you were going make a career out of music?
I have always been surrounded by music from my childhood. I’ve always loved music but I took it for granted. When I left secondary school, it was more of a hobby for me. I joined Colours Band which later became Lagbaja’s band. It wasn’t until then that I began to take it serious. I started going for shows and I was making money from it, so I was like okay, this is something I enjoy doing and I am making money from it; it’s not a bad thing. It was at that point that I began to take it serious and I said to myself, ‘let me give this a shot’.
Do you have your own band as well?
Yes, it is called Indigo.
What inspired you to form a band?
I am a live performer, so there was the need to get my own band. This is one of the problems that most artistes face today. They find it very difficult to perform with a live band. It is very important to play with a live band. I first look for those that can form the band with me.
Though, I am not taking anything away from those that use live band; but I just feel that when you use a live band, it’s fun. You can improvise and express yourself. You are not much of a musician if you cannot sing with a live band. I always knew that I was going to use a band. As much as I like singing my own songs, I like singing other people’s song and this was how I even started. Let me state that this is totally different from miming. We do this at events such as weddings, corporate events and other events. It is the same band, that is, Indigo that also back me up whenever I want to sing as Ego.
What are your likes and dislikes?
Basically, I like real people, down to earth people, intelligent people and the ones that can push me to get a better result. I cannot stand people who are fake but people with fantastic sense of humour.
Since you parted ways with Lagbaja, have you released any album on your own?
Yes , I released an album this year titled First Step but before that, I have released three singles and two videos and I am very encouraged from the feed-back.

“MY FATHER WAS A DRUG DEALER” – DIDDY

Sean (Diddy) Combs has been around the world and gained lots of success, but when he reflects on his childhood there’s a huge loss – - his father.
“My father was a drug dealer so I learned early in life that there’s only two ways out of that,” he said in the video segment “Confessions.”
The piece aligns with the launch of Diddy’s latest venture, Revolt TV.
“I’ve never spoken openly about my father… but launching @Revolttv moved me to share and let ppl kno the truth,” he tweeted Wednesday along with the video, which was taped in his New York apartment at 5:47 a.m.
By using the platform to discuss one of his most personal childhood experiences, the media mogul revealed the truth behind his father, Melvin Combs’ passing.
“My father was killed when I was 3 yrs old,” he wrote.
Although the 43-year-old entrepreneur’s dad was shot and killed at 33, eliminating the chance for them to have a relationship, Diddy expressed how he still had an impact on his life.
“They say you can’t miss something you never had, but that’s only a little ways right. There’s definitely been times as I’ve gotten older that I’ve missed my father – - his presence – - not being here,” he said.
His emotional admission brings Combs’ larger-than-life persona more in line with the everyday man who could relate to the absence of a father figure.
“Not having someone to ask manly advice,” he continued. “The things that you would ask your father. Also things that you would celebrate with him that would make him proud.”
While his father chose street life, the Bad Boy Records CEO took those lessons and marched down a very different path.
“Sometimes you can’t just answer why things happen but I definitely think the route I went on – - staying out the streets and hitting my books and trying to be somebody – - I think he played a role in that,” he added.
The father of five has been extremely successful in music, film, fashion, and even with his Ciroc liquor brand. With a reported net worth of $580 million, Diddy ranked first on the Top 50 Richest Rappers on CelebrityNetWorth.com with Jay Z coming in second.
@iamdiddy Your story is a MAJOR source of inspiration for @SaintRecords and all the young black kids trying to build and innovate. Bless!
— solange knowles (@solangeknowles) October 24, 2013
Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles retweeted Diddy’s video and wrote: “Your story is a MAJOR source of inspiration for @SaintRecords and all the young black kids trying to build and innovate. Bless!”
Before concluding his video confession the teary-eyed celeb added: “My father’s name was Melvin Combs and I’m Melvin’s son, Sean Combs.”

YAYA TOURE CALLS ON UEFA TO TAKE ACTION AFTER HE IS RACIALLY ABUSED AGAINST CSKA MOSCOW

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure, has asked UEFA to action, after he was racially abused at CSKA Moscow’s Khimki Arena by the club’s fans, during their 2-1 win on Wednesday.
The Ivorian was clearly angry at the monkey taunts he received from some CSKA fans and called the attention of the match referee to the incident.
“I told the ref,” he said. “I think it was unbelievable and very sad. We want to stop that.
“I think UEFA have to do a lot to try to stop it. Maybe close the stadium for a couple of games. As an African player, it is always sad when you hear something like that. I’m not just disappointed, I’m furious.
“I’m very, very disappointed about what those fans have done and I think UEFA have to take action because players with the same colour of skin will always be in the same position.
“For me, as captain, I was wearing an armband which said ‘no to racism’ and I was totally disappointed.
“I want to see UEFA do something and take some action.
“We have to be as strong as possible otherwise they will continue like that. Maybe they could ban the stadium, I don’t know, for a couple of years or a couple of months.
“The club may say they have to educate the fans, but I think it’s enough. Too much is too much. We have to stop it now.
“I don’t know it just happens in football. It’s unbelievable. They’re stupid, they’re just stupid. UEFA have to take action to right it otherwise I think they will just continue.”

MEET A SLENDER PRETTY BLOND WOMAN WHO BECAME A BULKY MAN

For many people in the world, actors and bodybuilders among them, anabolic steroids have become a regular part of life. Side-effects from taking them range from excess body hair to liver damage, and using them can result in serious health issues, not only in bigger muscles. A former barmaid Candice Armstrong, 28, from Walthamstow in London, was effectively turned into a man due to her steroids abuse.
Once a slender, pretty blonde, Candice is now a hulking brunette with muscles that wouldn’t look out of place on Arnold Schwarzenegger, and body hair that sprouts from her back, chest and upper lip.
Candice had no intention of becoming so masculine when she began taking the drug, but says that it’s too late for her to stop.
The side effects have been severe. Along with excess body hair and acne, her clitoris has swelled so much, it has become a mini man-hood, about an inch long. Her br**sts have also suffered and now hang lifeless from her hugely overdeveloped pectoral muscles.
Surprisingly, Candice is optimistice. What’s more, she has no intention of putting an end to her steroid use, as she thinks she still wouldn’t lose all the masculine qualities
Despite her drastically altered appearance, Candice says the pros outweigh the cons and have allowed her to do something else she loves – a drag act.

DORIS SIMEON YET TO GET BACK SON FROM EX-HUBBY, DANIEL ADEMINOKAN

“The public was recently fed with an untrue tale that the Omo Iya Kan actress has allegedly reunited with David, after her ex-hubby, Daniel Ademinokan, returned him.

“It was even alleged that the young David and the star actress attended church together last Sunday, October 20, 2013, which is untrue as the actress has been out of Nigeria since penultimate week.
“It is unsure who has been feeding the public and media with this tale but it should be noted that Doris Simeon is yet to get custody or reunite with her son after he was taken away by his father several months back.
“If and when David reunites with his mum, it wouldn’t be a thing to hide as the two have always had a blossoming and amazing relationship that exists between true mothers and children”  a recent statement from Doris Simeon’s management reads.
