There are indications that former good friends turned bitter enemies, Ruggedman and 9ice have buried their swords and are now set to do a song together like they did some years ago when 9ice was scarcely known.
A source told us that, "Ruggedman and 9ice no more have issues with each other. They’re cool now."
On a possibility of doing a duet, the source said, "It’s something 9ice wants to do and if the beat is right, as well as the lyrics, he would go do a song with him."

I have heard and seen some folks rants about me stealing production credit for Wande Coal's new single "Baby Face" and I would like to clarify this issue. I was only doing my job by making the beat for Wande and that's what I did. I don't see any reason why people should jump into quick conclusions without taking their time to really dig into the matter for facts.
Two years back, I remember I created a demo for Wande Coal's "Shawty Go Low" and someone else took the credits. I was in shock because I had plans to finish the song with Wande and was hoping it would be released as a single which I produced. Here is the link to the original version of "Go Low"

BABA WANDE TO CELEBRATE 50 YEARS OF ACTING

Popular yoruba actor, Kareem Adepoju, known as Baba Wande, will on November 24 celebrate his 50th year on stage at the LTV Blue Roof, Ikeja.
Speaking about his years of acting, Adepoju said he is fulfilled and enjoying his life but wants to be promoter and movie marketer later in life.
“I will like to sell movies, write plays, direct movies and teach the younger generation things related to the movie industry,” he said.
The event, which is expected to start on November 20, will include visits to the Osun state House of Assembly and some selected motherless babies home and Orphanages.
Adepoju also called for unity among actors and actresses, especially in the Yoruba movie industry, saying it would a level play ground for both old and upcoming stars.
Entertainers expected to perform at the event are King Sunny Ade, Lagbaja, Pasuma and others.

For a while now, there have been speculations that Wande Coal had quietly quit Don Jazzy’s Mavin records, and surprisingly the duo engaged in a tweet fight a few hours ago.
Mavin boss Don Jazzy called Wande Coal out on twitter after Wande released his new single Baby Face’ earlier today – Don Jazzy claimed he stole from him.
Reacting to Don Jazzy’s tweets, Wande via his twitter handle, denied stealing the song and queried Don Jazzy for calling him out on twitter when he could easily reach him on phone or through his email.

“I MADE 11 MISTAKES AGAINST NEWCASTLE” – MOURINHO WORRIED ABOUT CHELSEA’S FORM

Jose Mourinho says he made 11 mistakes in his team selection against Newcastle.

The Portuguese watched on, as his team were beaten 2-0 at St, James Park, thanks to second half goals from Yoan Gouffran and Loic Remy.

When asked if he was concerned about his team’s form, he replied: “Of course, of course I am worried, and I read in previous years, it happened the same.

“They (Chelsea) were successful in cup competitions, they were not successful in the Premier League. They finished 20 points behind, they finished 15 points behind.

“They qualified for the Champions League because they won the Champions League, but they finished fifth or sixth in the league.

“Last year in December, they were not in the race for the title because they were already 20 points behind. This season, we have played five matches away in the Premier League – I know at difficult places to play difficult matches – but we have one victory and we have two defeats.

“Of course it concerns me.”

Mourinho made nine changes from the team that defeated Arsenal at the Emirates on Tuesday in the Capital One Cup and admits he got it all wrong.

Asked if he had made the right choices, he said: “No, I made 11 mistakes, 11 mistakes. I should have picked another 11 and not this one. I made 11 mistakes.

“It’s the feeling I have. When my team plays so badly, it’s the feeling I have.

“I’m exaggerating. Of course we had some guys with, I am not saying outstanding, but with some normal good performances, but the feeling is that I made 11 wrong choices.”

TEENAGE GIRL SELLS VIRGINITY FOR 18000 POUNDS

A teenager from Russia has sold her virginity for less than $30,000, it is reported. 

The unnamed 18 year old – known only by the nickname Shatuniha – advertised on an online auction site describing her condition as ‘new – not used’. 

From Siberia, she proposed meeting in a hotel in the city of Krasnoyarsk where she wished to be paid before sleeping with the man who exceeded her minimum price.

PARDEW PRAISES PLAYERS’ EFFORT AFTER 2-0 WIN OVER CHELSEA

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew, was full of praises for his players, after they stunned Chelsea 2-0 at St. James Park in Saturday’s early kick-off. 

Gouffran and Remy got two second-half goals, as Jose Mourinho’s men failed to take top spot, ahead of Arsenal’s clash against Liverpool.

ACTOR, IDRIS ELBA SUFFERS ASTHMA ATTACK, TRIP TO SOUTH AFRICA ABORTED

According to EWN Reporter, actor Idris Elba suffered a severe asthma attack just before the South African premiere of his upcoming film “Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom.”

This morning, at a Q&A following the premiere, director Justin Chadwick shared that Elba is in the hospital, but recovering well. Elba was on a flight from the U.K. to Johannesburg when he suffered an attack and had to be taken off the plane just before takeoff. Elba was also scheduled to DJ at an event in Soweto, but the event might be cancelled due to his current state of health.

Elba plays the iconic civil rights leader, Nelson Mandela in the upcoming biopic, which opens in the U.S. November 29th. Naomie Harris (“Skyfall”) co-stars as ex-wife Winnie Mandela.

“Long Walk To Freedom” won the Audience Favorite Feature at The Aspen Film festival in October, and Elba will be given the BAFTA LA Brittania Humanitarian Award on November 9th. “Idris Elba has used his success in film and television to turn the spotlight towards a very deserving cause. His work with the Prince’s Trust for disadvantaged youth is highly commendable, and in complete accord with BAFTA Los Angeles’ own work in the inner city,” said Gary Dartnall, Chairman, BAFTA Los Angeles.

Elba reprises his role as Norse god Heimdall in “Thor: The Dark World” which opens this Friday, November 8th.

SUAREZ REVEALS WHY HE STAYED AT LIVERPOOL, READY TO FACE ARSENAL AT EMIRATES

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, has revealed that Steven Gerrard and the club’s fans, are the reasons why he decided to stay at Anfield.

The Uruguay international, was the subject of strong interest from Arsenal, who had two bids rejected last summer, but the 26-year-old eventually did not leave and has scored six times in five games.

“Steve [Gerrard] spoke a lot to me, he gave me advice and told me what I needed to hear,” he told Sport 890. “When I was separated, he told he didn’t like that and wanted me to be with the group. Today I feel very supported by my team-mates.

“The support of the fans was also very important. I always could walk on the street with no trouble. I was never threatened or anything like that, it was all made up. The people told me to stay.

“I work hard for Liverpool and I will always be thankful to the club.”

The former Ajax player, also insisted he was looking forward to facing Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

“English football is the best you can find,” he added. “The atmosphere, the stadiums, the people, everything is incredible.

“The game against Arsenal is very important to know where are we. If we can be on top, fighting for the first four places in the table. It is a nice match against a direct opponent.

“The people are enthusiastic about how the team is playing. We are scoring and we are doing well in defence. The victories against Manchester United and Aston Villa, both 1-0, are a good example.

‘I SEE NOBODY AS COMPETITION,WIZKID IS NOT A THREAT’ – DAVIDO

In a recent interview with PUNCH, Davido opened-up on his Skelewu video, his relationship with his dad and the competition in the music industry.

He say he is not scared of competition , neither does he see Wizkid as a threat.

“Wizkid is not a rival. I see nobody as competition or threat. God is behind me, so I just go into the studio, do my music and everything is fine. I develop and write most of my songs in the studio. I’m not afraid of competition or the fact that some person will just appear on the scene and take the shine. After all, I did it to some people, so I expect that it is something that must happen to everyone because you can’t be shining forever. But once you are good to others, make good music, have loyal fans, that’s all that matters.

I have plans to go into oil and gas business with my elder brother next year. I want to do music for 10 years. By that time, I will be 30, and free to rest. Some people are just starting out at 30 but I am already a success and threat at 20. Fame at a young age is a plus because I still have like 10 years to ball while some people are just starting at 27 and 30.”

On Skelewu 

“The song is big already; so whatever we do people are still going to talk anyway. I shot the video like a movie and there are three videos, so people can watch whichever one they want.If you don’t like the instructional video, you can watch Sesan’s, if you don’t like that one; you can watch Moe Musa’s. If people want, I will shoot one more video, it’s not easy.”

“Yes my father is rich, but the truth is some people only knew who he was after I released my song, ‘Omo Baba Olowo’. I want people to know that the song was not a hit because of my father but because it was dope. I didn’t sing ‘OBO’ because of my father’s wealth – contrary to what people think. My father and family always keep me grounded. They call me from time to time to ask about my welfare. My father actually visits all these blogs to read and see all my nonsense. Just like the typical Yoruba father, he scolds me and whenever he does that, I will say, ‘Daddy cool down, what’s going on, relax.’ Although he is also very proud of me, he is scared and happy for me at the same time.”

SHORT STOP: FAMOUS DUO, AKI AND PAWPAW STOPPED FROM SHOOTING MOVIE IN KUMASI, GHANA

Infamous comic duo Aki and Pawpaw have been abruptly stopped from shooting a movie in Kumasi with other actors including Kwadjo ‘Liwin’ Nkansah.

The surprising bad news came from the Film Producers’ Association of Ghana (FIPAG), this was due to the fact that the director of the movie had breached some of the association’s regulations.

Mr. Michael Ola, PRO for the association who disclosed this in an exclusive interview with NYDJ live explained the association had no qualms with the duo but believed the right procedure had to be followed especially when the new executives of the association had laid out new strategies to make the industry a better one.

Aki and PawPaw were therefore asked to officially obtain documents from the Film Industry in Nigeria, working permit as well as make payments for the continuation of the shoot.

As at the time of publication, the duo and the production house in charge of the movie, Peace and Love Productions had commenced with plans to comply with the Ghanaian movie board and then the continuation of the movie.

His assets include a mansion on Manchester Road, London, a duplex in VGC, 2 massive buildings in Benin city and hotels in Auchi, Edo State.

The former Boro man owns a petrol station in Benin City which is run by his brother Momo Aiyegbeni. In his garage back home in Nigeria are a fleet of cars including a Range Rover and a BMW.

MEET ARTIST WHO SCULPTS CELEBRITY PORTRAITS IN EXPENSIVE LIPSTICK

Ever dreamed of having your face immortalized in expensive lipstick? No? Well, you can, thanks to Singapore-based artist May Sum, who has made a name for himself by carving expensive lipsticks from top brands in the makeup industry into detailed busts of various celebrities, from Lady Gaga to Audrey Hepburn.

Some women would kill for a stick of lipstick from established brands such as Yves Saint Laurent or Estee Lauder, but artist May Sum doesn’t think twice before butchering them into oily busts of popular fashion icons. It’s not clear what kind of tools he uses during the carving process, but considering the size of his medium, they must be pretty tiny and precise. Although his lipstick busts aren’t exact replicas of the characters he aims to depict, the Singaporean somehow manages to always nail the details that define his muses. For example, Lady Gaga is easily recognizable by her unmistakable hairdo and large glasses, while Coco Channel can be distinguished by her signature hat and pearls. May Sum can carve sticks of lipsticks into anything from animals to sceneries and customs portraits, but she is most famous for her “Strong Women” series.

Obviously, high-end lipsticks are not cheap, so you may find May Sum’s unique sculptures a bit on the expensive side as well. Prices start at $600, but the artist will give you the option to choose the lipstick brand, the model and the color. Pretty steep, but if you don’t like the finished product you can always just use the lipstick for its intended purpose, and your investment wouldn’t be completely wasted.
