Tony Tetuila is one of the countless entertainers in the race for political office come the 2015 general elections.
The singer turned politician is running for the Kwara State House of Assembly, Irepodun LGA, and after making his decision to contest a public knowledge a few weeks back, the singer is now taking the bull by the horns by paying a visit to his constituency to meet with Oro Ward 2 leaders and other women leaders in his local government.
The trip back to his roots is to officially seek their blessings and as well explain his mission to them.
A few weeks back, Alapomeji Records boss, 9ice, Kenny Saint Best and Nollywood actor, Desmond Olusola Elliot have all hosted key players in the wards and constituencies they hope to represent.
Tony Tetuila was one of three founding members of Nigeria’s pioneer hip hop group, The Remedies. As the first member to leave the group, Tetuila released a single titled ‘Omode Meta’ which features Plantashun Boys as well as Ruff, Rugged and Raw.
The song went on to establish him, making him a star on his own terms.
