The management of Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has announced the release of the results of a total number of 47,583 students of the external system. The release of the results, according to the institution, is aimed at addressing the many contradictions confronting the institution and its external system (satellite campuses), particularly the backlog of results of many students.
Announcing the release yesterday on the campus, the Chairman of the task force on the university’s external system, Prof. Cordelia Nwabuko, said the results, which have since been uploaded on the institution’s website, involve all the students that have passed through the system since its inception, including those who have already graduated.
While urging all concerned individuals to visit the website to check the status of their results, she added that efforts were still on to address all the cases concerning students’ results and graduation, as the campuses would be formally closed as instructed by government at the end of the current 500-level students’ programmes.

She said; “As at today, July 22, over 254,391 visits to the newly designed website dedicated to addressing the external system issues have been recorded, and their complaints and responses are currently being analysed. More than 5,509,863 scores of each student sorted so far have been extracted and uploaded.
“Apart from the 2,500 results cleared and presented for convocation in April, another 1,071 students’ results have been cleared and will be presented to the Senate for approval in the next few days, while another 2,000 results will be ready for Senate consideration in August. So we appeal to all concerned students to check for updates and send responses.”
