OYO STATE DECLARES FRIDAY PUBLIC HOLIDAY FOR OLUBADAN’S CORONATION

The Oyo State Government has declared today a public holiday in the state in commemoration of the coronation of the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Saliu Adetunji.

The coronation will hold at Mapo Hall with eminent personalities, traditional leaders and government representatives expected at the venue.

In a statement by the state’s Head of Service, Mr. Soji Eniade, Governor Abiola Ajimobi urged civil and public servants in the state, market men and women, artisans and other members of the public to turn out massively for the ceremony.
