Veteran reggae artiste, Ras kimono, has lashed out on up and coming artistes over their poor attitude towards building a strong career for themselves in the music industry.
The artiste, who was on the Lagos State Television programme, ‘Gbarada,’ on Sunday with Yemi Sodimu, said young Nigerian artistes come into the industry to make money and get females and then abandon the industry.
According to him, aside abandoning the industry, they also deal in drugs and alcohol, which he says is not healthy for their growth in the industry.
‘Some musicians are like comedians, the younger ones don’t want to sing good music. They just come for females and money and go. Musicians should stick around and do their music,” he advised.
