Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho continued his spat with on-loan Everton striker Romelu Lukaku in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
Mourinho and Lukaku have been firing verbal volleys back and forth for the past week, casting the big Belgian’s future at Stamford Bridge in doubt.
Lukaku on Saturday said was considering staying at Everton for another season, but Mourinho hit back ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Sunderland on Wednesday night, insisting the decision will be solely his.
When asked about Lukaku’s comments, the Portuguese said: ‘Maybe there is a new rule in football where when the season finishes every player is able to decide their own future.’
Mourinho’s dismissive comments are the latest twist in a war of words between player and manager.

TIWA SAVAGE’S HUSBAND, T-BILLZ DESTROYS PHOTOGRAPHER’S CAMERA AT SOUND SULTAN’S BIRTHDAY PARTY

About a week ago, musician Sound Sultan celebrated his birthday by throwing a party that had his colleagues, friends and family members in attendance, however, Tiwa Savage’s husband, T-Billz created a scene by attacking one of the photographers at the event.
Tee Billz allegedly attacked the photo-journalist Victor Obot, for taking pictures against his will.
NET reports that “he snatched the camera in front of several witnesses and crashed it in on the floor damaging the lens and other accessories in the camera.”
Narrating his side of the story, Victor Obot also known as Elejo, said ‘I wasn’t even pointing the camera at him. The camera was directed at another guest who was sitting next to him, and then all of a sudden, he snatched my camera from me and smashed it.’
‘‘From what I gathered, T-Billz had warned Elejo (photo-journalist) not to take snapshots of him. Much later, I saw T-Billz grabbing the camera from him and then the camera fell on the floor in the process. Although I do not endorse T-Billz’s action, but I think the Elejo should have respected his wish and not try to take snap shots of him’’ Musician Azadus who witnessed the whole incident told NET
Reacting to the report however, Tee Billz denied destroying the camera, saying ‘It is not true. You can go ahead and cook up whatever story you like. It is not going to shake me in anyway”

BURNA BOY BARRED FROM UK FOR 15 YEARS

There are reports that Nigeria’s pop sensation, Burna Boy’s “uncontrollable” character has cost him a 15 years ban from the United Kingdom.
‘He can’t be told anything to do, he’s a big boy right now. He won’t just listen anymore, we are frustrated with his actions’.” his label mates told NET.
Burna boy who is presently having issues with his label, Aristokrat, has not only moved out of the house provided for him by the label in Lekki Phase 1 but he has also extricated himself from them and now handles his career with a former label employee who now only answers to him (Burna).
‘He wants to be in more control of his career’, they further told the online portal.
Well, Burna Boy’s ‘uncontrollable’ mannerism and persona didn’t just start yesterday, a few months ago he allegedly attacked and slapped a ticket attendant at the Silverbird cinema, Port Harcourt.
Also, a while in the UK back in 2010, he was arrested and sent to jail by London Police for allegedly being part of a gang and stabbing someone to death.
He was released after 11 months and given two months parole plus community service on the grounds of being of ‘good behaviour’, however, Burna allegedly disobeyed authorities and travelled back to Nigeria where he signed a record deal with Aristokrat.
He later travelled back to the UK but was arrested at the airport and deported to Nigeria. He is currently barred from the UK for the next 15 years.

TOURE NAMED BBC AFRICAN FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR

Manchester City and Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure has been named winner of the 2013 BBC African Footballer of the Year for the first time.
The 30-year-old beat the likes of Victor Moses, John Mikel Obi, Jonathan Pitroipa and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to this year’s crown as voted for by fans online and by test message.
Fifth-time lucky Toure told the BBC Sport: “I think I’ve been nominated for five years in a row and finally winning the award is amazing.”
He has been one of the standout players for club and country in the recent past season, having played a vital role in the ‘Elephant’ squad which reached a third successive FIFA World Cup in Brazil next summer.
Although he and Manchester City teammates were unable to retain their league title last season, his contribution to the team has seen them bounce back from last season’s trophy-less campaign to contending for titles this season, having reached the last 16 of the Champions League with a game to spare and maintaining a top four berth on the league log.

OSHIOMHOLE OFFERS JOB, DONATES N2M TO WIDOW

Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo on Monday donated N2m to a widow he allegedly insulted while on an inspection tour of the state.
The widow, Mrs. Joy Ifije, who was invited to the Edo Government House by the governor, was also offered automatic employment by Oshiomhole.
Oshiomhole had invited the widow to personally apologise to her over his uncomplimentary remark that had generated controversies in the conventional and social media in the last few weeks.
The governor said, “Let me apologise to you for the way I spoke to you. I am very sorry about the statement.
“I have also realised that even in anger, one could still achieve the same result that he set out to without provocative outburst.
“I apologise from the bottom of my heart, but sometimes you get angry when people compromise your efforts.”
He said the government was trying to change the face of the state capital by doing its best to make the city beautiful.
The governor added that it was frustrating and bad for some people to truncate government efforts.
He stressed that trading on the road and walk ways could hinder free flow of traffic as well as cause accidents.
Oshiomhole, therefore, appealed to the widow to join in the campaign against road and walkways trading.
The governor said exposing consumables to unhygienic sanitary conditions could also cause ”disease and pose dangerous health hazards to humans.”
Oshiomhole, who also announced the automatic employment of the widow, said the employment would help her ease the burden of widowhood and give her children good and proper education.
He assured the widow that his family would assist the widow’s second child in furthering his education, while also appealing to her to resist the temptation of breaking the law.
The widow had earlier apologised to the governor for her action, saying ‘’ I know I was wrong, that was why I quickly knelt down to beg when I realised I was face to face with the Governor’’.
She promised to work with the state government in its campaign against street trading and obstruction.
She also promised to make judicious use of the money donated to her by the governor.

BEYONCE IS BING’S MOST SEARCHED CELEBRITY FOR 2013

Singer Beyonce has been named the most-searched person on online search engine Bing in 2013, edging out 2012's list-topper – reality television star Kim Kardashian, who came in second.
Beyonce, 32, topped the list in a year after making a comeback to the entertainment scene following a time out to give birth to her first child, daughter Blue Ivy, with rapper husband Jay Z.
The singer performed at President Barack Obama’s inauguration in January, at the Super Bowl in February and kicked off a worldwide tour, The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, in April. The notoriously private singer also revealed glimpses of her life with Jay Z and their baby in a February HBO documentary.

PREMIER LEAGUE WRAP: ARSENAL REMAIN TOP, CHELSEA GO SECOND AS MAN CITY LAY DOWN THE GAUNTLET

Arsenal have remained top of the Premier League table by beating Cardiff City 3-0 away from home on Saturday.
Aaron Ramsey continued his stunning early-season form by netting a double while Mathieu Flamini scored his first goal since his return to the Gunners from AC Milan.
Welshman Ramsey, against his former club, opened up the scoring just before the half-hour mark with a stunning header from a fierce Mesut Ozil cross from the left before Flamini added a second four minutes from time when he rifled home Ozil’s clever through ball from inside the area.

All Catholics in the world will go to hell because they worship Satan and are led by an Anti-Christ Pope who is a friend to the devil, Nigeria’s controversial preacher and former presidential candidate, Chris Okotie, told his congregation on Sunday, leaving members bewildered.
Fifty-five year old Okotie, while preaching in his Household of God Church in Ikeja area of Lagos, western Nigeria, said the Catholic church is “a counterfeit church set up by Satan” and that Catholics “bow to idols and crucify Jesus every Sunday when they eat bread claiming they are eating Jesus’ body.”
“They are not Christians and have never been,” Okotie told a stunned congregation.
“They don’t know Jesus. They believe that when they eat bread on Sundays, they are eating the body of Jesus. It’s ritual,” Okotie said.
He said Pope Francis is an Anti-Christ who does the job of the devil and that time is fast approaching when the Catholic church will pledge allegiance to Satan.
“The pope is an Anti-Christ and the Catholic church will soon declare for Satan. This is the end of times,” Okotie erupted.
He advised members of his church to come to the rescue of Catholics and evangelise them.
This, he said, was not out of disrespect but out of respect for the word of God.
He said those who know the truth should bring it to those who do not know it in the Catholic Church.
Okotie said one of the Catholic most revered Popes, Pope John Paul 11, surrendered the Catholic Church to Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus Christ, instead of Jesus himself. He said even the current Pope Francis has also done same.
He said Catholics are not Christians and do not worship the same Christ that he preaches in his church, at least the one spoken about in the Bible.
Okotie said he did not write the Bible but it was clear to him that those in the Catholic church were lost and were heading to hell fire.
“They don’t believe in heaven. They believe in purgatory, the purgatory that they invented,” Okotie said.
“That church, the Catholic church has been there for Satan and at the right time, they will declare for Satan,”Okotie said.
Okotie who has been married twice and divorced also twice said a beauty pageant will take place in his church next Sunday to select the most beautiful woman in his church.
He also said his yearly “Grace programme” where he makes donations to charity organisations will also take place next Sunday.
The once rock star turned celebrity preacher and politician has been controversial for years.
He once said it was the devil who told him for the first time that he was going to be a preacher.
He also said Nigeria’s famous preacher Prophet T.B. Joshua is the son of the devil and his followers will go straight to hell.
In recent years, he has been saying that God has anointed him to be Nigeria’s president. That prophecy has not come to pass in two presidential elections that he participated in.

MEET THE WOMAN WHO HID HER BOYFRIEND’S N850,000 GOLD NECKLACE IN HER PRIVATE PART (PICTURED)

26-year-old Tessy Emorvon was said to have stripped in the presence of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) operatives and produced a necklace which she was said to have stolen.
The necklace was reported missing by Tessy’s ‘boyfriend’ Cosmos and was said to be worth N850,000.

She was re-arrested by detectives at SARS, Ikeja when the owner of the gold necklace, Cosmos alerted them that she had been granted bail.
Trouble started when Cosmos, her boyfriend, realized that the gold necklace that he wore while having sex with her was missing. He raised the alarm and the occupants of the hotel, including Tessy, were arrested. They were all searched and the gold chain was not found. Not satisfied with their claim that they were not aware of where the gold chain was kept, Cosmos quickly alerted the police at Area F, Ikeja.
At the police station, Tessy insisted that she knew nothing about the stolen gold necklace. Having been detained for two days, she was granted bail while investigation continued.
Still not satisfied, Cosmos quickly reported the matter again at SARS, Ikeja and she was picked up as soon as she was granted bail at Area F, Ikeja. The officer in-charge of the department, SP Abba Kyari ordered his men to take her in for the normal process of interrogation.
Tessy who was in detention was scared she would be treated like an armed robber, she immediately confessed and agreed to produce the gold necklace where she had kept it.
The policemen however got the shock of their lives when she started undressing. Embarrassed, the officers asked if she had lost her senses and Tessy insisted that she was trying to bring out the necklace. She dipped her fingers inside her vagina and pulled out a piece of cotton wool soaked with blood. Inside it was the stolen necklace. She also confessed how she smuggled out the pendant undetected.
Meanwhile, Cosmos said he had strong feelings that the gold necklace was with Tessy as she had threatened severally that she would disappear with it.
“I have heard so much of the exploits of SARS, Ikeja, so I quickly rushed to the office and filed a fresh report when I learnt that they wanted to release her. Actually, she drugged me, before taking the necklace,” Cosmos said.
At the police station, Tessy who claimed to be a whore confessed that she felt that the safest place to hide the stolen gold necklace was her vagina.
She said: “This man is very stingy and hardly pays well at the end of a hot sex session with him. He is actually my boyfriend and I have dated him for more than a year. Most of the time, he will have sex with me and go home giving excuses why he would not give me a kobo. I always let it go because I knew that at the end of the day, I would make money from other customers. Since he is the only one that I normally had sex with without condom, I was enjoying the relationship.
“Few days before the incident, he came with a gold necklace and told me that it was worth N850, 000. I felt bad that a man who can afford to buy a necklace that’s worth that much could not give his girlfriend money for maintenance. The next day, he came with another necklace and at that point I made up my mind that I would steal it. He slept a lot after sex, so it was easy for me to take the necklace and hide it. Naturally, I knew that they will strip me in an attempt to find the necklace, so I had no choice but to hide it in the safest place in my body. My vagina.”
According to Tessy, “It was when the argument started that she got to know that Cosmos is a married man with children. “His brother suddenly surfaced and accused him of abandoning his wife who is a nursing mother at home. I was so disappointed because, he had promised to marry me. He claimed that the gold necklace was his property and that it was worth N850, 000. It was then that I decided to steal it. Continuing her tale, Tessy said: “I was so happy when the police at Area F agreed to release me on bail and I was already making plans as to what to do with the money. We were on our way home when some mean looking men re-arrested us . I was shattered, because I knew that my game was up. I tried to be strong but when they took me in for interrogation, I had no choice but to tell the truth on time. No criminal should pray to be taken to that place, because you will surely confess no matter how long.”
On how she managed to keep the necklace in her vagina for days unharmed, Tessy said: “In the business of prostitution, your vagina is the safest place to hide things especially money. We encounter all sizes, therefore your body adjusts easily. When I stole the necklace, I folded it in a cotton wool before I inserted it into my vagina. I couldn’t push the pendant completely inside but I managed the pains till I got to the police station. They all felt that I had kept it in the house or given it out”.
The incident was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Ngozi Briade confirming that the suspect confessed to the crime and pulled the necklace from her vagina. Briade added that the “Investigation in the matter is ongoing.”

BRAZIL 2014: NFF GIVES KESHI SEMI-FINAL TARGET

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has set a semi-final target for Stephen Keshi and the Super Eagles, at next year’s World Cup in Brazil.
Vice president of the federation, Chief Mike Umeh, was speaking on behalf of the football governing body in the country and said that the African champions were expected to surpass the quarter-final achievements of Cameroon, Senegal and Ghana in previous outings.
“That has been discussed. No African team has surpassed the quarterfinals [of a Fifa World Cup]. Let us be the first African team that can scale that hurdle. That’s our target,” Umeh told Supersport.com.
“When a team reaches the semifinals of a major tournament, anything can happen. However, I will not say we will win the trophy in Brazil next year. That will be unrealistic”.
Umeh also insisted that there were no plans to hire a foreign technical adviser for the Nigeria national team.
He said: “I am not God and anything could happen between now and the next six months when we will compete at the World Cup.
“However, the NFF has asked [Keshi] to take us to the World Cup. He’s a very good coach and has brought some innovations to Nigerian football. He has done very well and I pray God helps him to succeed at the World Cup”.

ASUU WARNS PARENTS NOT TO RISK THE LIVES OF THEIR CHILDREN BY SENDING THEM BACK TO SCHOOL

Barely forty eight (48) hours to the expiration of the ultimatum handed to the Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU) by the Education Minister and there is no end in sight for the five months old strike action.
The Supervising minister of Education, Mr Nyesom Wike had on Thursday warned striking lecturers to return to the lecture rooms in Seven (7) days or risk losing their jobs.
That ultimatum will expire on Wednesday but ASUU seems unfazed by the ultimatum as they have advised Parents/Guardians not to risk the lives of their children/wards by sending them back to the campuses as the strike has not been called off.
The Senate President, David Mark has condemned the ultimatum given to ASUU but has also begged them to resume work. Nigeria’s leading opposition party, All Progressive Change has also condemned the government for issuing such a threat

ETISALAT REPLIES COMEDIAN JULIUS AGWU, OVER LAWSUIT THREAT

Etisalat Nigeria, has reacted to Julius Agwu’s 7day ultimatum to the company that it should compensate him with the whooping sum of N100 million or risk legal action over “alleged unlawful and unjustified blocking and/or swapping” of his Etisalat GSM phone number 08189555555.
Julius Agwu had, through his lawyer, Festus Keyamo, demanded N100m after his business line was blocked by Etisalat.
Julius said in a bid to solve his problem, he had visited Etisalat’s Abuja office at Hilton to report the matter, and that He was attended to by one Miss Joan, who informed him that somebody had swapped his line. Julius successfully answered the security questions put to him, his line was restored with no airtime balance.
He was shocked when the line was blocked later on again. And even after his several meetings with Etisalat, they still failed to unblock his line the second time, causing him to lose some business opportunities.
Etisalat’s Public Relations Manager, Chineze Amanfo, while giving a response to the allegation through an email sent to PMNews, stated that contrary to the reportage of the issue on the blogs and news sites, a SIM swap was performed on the said line after the requester provided the company’s customer care executives with necessary SIM replacement information, in accordance with laid down NCC regulations and process for SIM swap.
She added that the SIM replacement information includes security and personal requirements to the owner, which the requester provided before the swap was effected.
Subsequently, upon a report made at our office by Mr. Agwu that he is the owner of the line and did not authorize anyone to swap it, our customer care executives promptly restored the line as well as the airtime lost during the swap process.
Etisalat Nigeria is currently carrying out an internal investigation into the SIM swap incident and will refer the matter to the appropriate agencies for further investigation as may be necessary.
