BOVI SHARES HIS PHOTOS WITH HIS DAUGHTER AS THEY MARK BIRTHDAY TOGETHER

Today, Thursday, September 25th, Comedian Bovi turned 35, and as well his little daughter turned one.

The obviously excited father happily displayed his picture with his daughter as his BBM Display Picture (DP).

It was on Wednesday night on September 25th, 2013 when Christabel Ugboma put to bed to a bouncing baby girl- beautiful gift to her husband on his birthday.
The baby arrived at an undisclosed hospital reportedly in the US. Bovi’s baby girl is the second child for the couple with the first a son.

Santillana has backed Cristiano Ronaldo to go on and break every goalscoring record at Real Madrid.

Even when I would be pregnant, I will still come and stay with the children. Although some would think I’m just acting the pregnancy part but I just have to be them.
In 5 years time I want to be able to touch lives. Make people smile. I want to see a smile of fulfillment on the faces of the children that I have had encounter with. That is my satisfaction and joy. I want to be always there for the children in every positive way."

DESMOND ELLIOT PRAYS FOR INI EDO TO GET PREGNANT

There has been a call for prayer for one of Nigeria’s finest actresses, Ini Edo, to conceive before the year runs out on one of the numerous Facebook accounts ascribed to actor, Desmond Elliot.

In the message, Nigerians were asked to say amen to the prayer that the Nollywood diva, who has put smiles on a lot of faces in the country would have a reason to smile before the year runs out.

The message read, “We all know actress, Ini Edo, has been married for a while now without any issue. Many of us have laughed at her, insulted her, judged her without knowing the pains she goes through indoors. She has entertained us, made us laugh and has inspired many of us. Today, let us come together and pray for her. Ini Edo, this year, 2014 will not pass you by, you will not only get pregnant, you will also give birth safe and sound. KIDNAPPING: I WAS WARNED BY THE POLICE NOT TO SPEAK………..TV HOST, DAYO ADENEYE

Multiple award winning TV and Radio broadcaster, Dayo Adeneye, says he has been warned not to talk about his in-law’s kidnap issue to anybody especially the press.

Recall that the showbiz guru’s father-in-law, Michael Negbenebor, was kidnapped in Benin, Edo State, some weeks ago, since then, Dayo has been in a sober mood as he tries to raise the ransom that is being demanded.

He said, “We have been advised by the police not to talk to the press.”
Reports had it that the kidnappers have demanded for a ransom to be paid but it is unclear if the money has been paid or not.

It was also learnt that Michael Negbenebor is the Chairman, Soccer Group of Companies, and Negbenebor International School.

Nigerian rapper, Jude Abaga better known as M.I, says endorsement deals is putting food on his table and he needs not do music to survive.

He stated that despite all what is being written about him here and there, he is never bothered because he is still making his name.

The rapper revealed that though he has not released an album in four years, but the time is right for him to come out because the music is there and the story is there to tell the fans.

“But now is the right time for me to come out because the music is there and the story is there. I stayed away waiting for the right time. Whenever you drive through Lagos or anywhere in the country and you see my face, you would know what I have been doing to survive,” he said.

JA RULE LANDS MTV REALITY SHOW “FOLLOW THE RULES” STARRING HIS FAMILY

We just might get to see a different side to Rapper, Ja rule. The hip-hop star has recently landed a reality show deal with MTV along with his family titled ‘Follow the rules’.

In “Follow the Rules,” the entertainer along with his wife, Aisha and his three kids as well as his mother and mother-in-law try to show their traditional lifestyle.

The Grammy award nominee has two teenage sons, Jeffery Jr. and Jordan, and his eldest daughter Brittney, visiting the home during her sophomore year of college. Set as executive producers of the half an hour series are Queen Latifah, Jeffrey Atkins and Christian Sarabia.

Ja Rule expressed his excitement over the deal and was tweeting and retweeting the news to fans. He said in a statement that read: “I am truly honored and excited to be partnering with MTV and 51 Minds,” Ja. “Family tradition will never be the same, bitch!” According to MTV President of Programming, Susanne Daniels; “Ja Rule is the modern day reality rap star version of Bill Cosby’s role from The Cosby Show. He embraces a unique parenting style with his teenage kids that feel fresh and funny. We’re excited to be in business with him and his delightful family.”

WIZKID UNVEILS COVER FOR NEW ALBUM

Finally, it seems the wait for the sophomore album from Nigerian music superstar, Wizkid, is about to end. The EME artiste, born as Ayodeji Balogun, is to bear the title of Ayo (Joy), would be released jointly under the imprint of his parent record label, E.M.E as well as his own label, StarBoy. A release date has not been officially set for the 18-track album but features a star-studded list of collaborations with a number of industry big names including Femi Kuti, American rapper Wale, Akon, Tyga, Phyno, Seyi Shay and Banky W.

DESMOND ELLIOT SHOOTS 300-EPISODE TV SERIES IN NAIROBI

Nollywood actor and director, Desmond Elliot, has kicked off the shooting of a 300-episode TV series in Nairobi, Kenya featuring a host of Kenyan actors.

According to Kenyan Newspaper, Word Is, Elliot, who plays the role of an investor who has interest in working with country commissioner of a remote area in Kenya in the TV series, is currently working on the project in the African country. Unfortunately, the commissioner, played by Gerald Langiri, is however popular for his corrupt and crooked ways and tides soon change as Elliot’s character falls in love with his niece, a young doctor in a county hospital.

The series, according to plans, will be aired on local channels in the country but with a 300-episode schedule, the TV series is expected to be among the most talked about shows on TV in Kenya in the next few months.

JOAN RIVERS’ BODY TO PASS THROUGH NEW YORK JEWISH TEMPLE

Details of the burial of late comedienne extraordinaire Joan Rivers have began trickling in.

According to the latest tweet by ‘E News’ the TV station where late Joan Rivers worked before she died, ‘Joan Rivers’ memorial service will be held at a New York Jewish temple’.

NEZITIC Investigations reveals that the Jewish temple ‘Temple Emanu-El’ located at 1 East 65th Street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York would be the venue for Joan’s private funeral, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 7.

Temple Emanu-El was the first Reform Jewish congregation in New York City and because of its size and prominence, it has served as a flagship congregation in the Reform branch of Judaism since it’s founding in 1845.

Its landmark Romanesque Revival building on Fifth Avenue is widely admired as the largest, and one of the most beautiful synagogues in the world. It is slightly larger than the Budapest Great Synagogue, the largest in Eurasia. The congregation currently comprises approximately 3000 families and has been led by Senior Rabbi Joshua M. Davidson since July 2013.

The smash hit single from Mavin records all-star collective, ‘Dorrobucci,’ has just hit over one million views on Youtube.

Mavin boss, Don Jazzy shared the good news via Instagram, stating his unhidden happiness at reaching such a milestone. At the moment, the song, which features Mavin Records label mates including Dr Sid, Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello, Reekado Banks, D’Prince, D’ija and Don Jazzy himself, currently has a total of 1, 002,489 views on YouTube.

The song, ‘Dorrobucci,’ was released on May 1, 2014 while the video followed on July 23, 2014.

I DON’T LIKE ATTENDING FUNCTIONS……….WALE ADENUGA

Chairman/CEO of WAP (Wale Adenuga Productions), Wale Adeduga, has disclosed that despite his position in the Nigerian entertainment industry, he does not like attending business functions.

Adenuga revealed that his actions were deliberate because he likes to maintain a low profile and treasures his privacy so much.

The comic producer explained that his wished has always been to project only his programmes, services and establishments, but had to reveal himself because some fraudsters were extorting people using his name.

According to him, “I treasure my privacy so much. I am a very private person, I have always wanted to project only my programmes, services and establishments, projecting myself is out of it. It took me so many years to publish my face in my magazines. I was even forced to do so because some unscrupulous people started going round duping people and telling people that they were Wale Adenuga. That was what forced me to publish my face, I don’t like attracting undue attention to myself.”

PHOTOS: ADEWALE AND FRIENDS RENDERS COMMUNITY SERVICE

Adewale Okusanya also known as I.C.U. in company of his friends went to the Aiyetoro Market in Epe, Lagos State on Thursday 4th of September for Voluntary Community Service by cleaning the road starting from the Ita-Ale Market to the 2nd Gate of the market opposite Post Office. He did this as part of his contribution to the development of the community to make it unadulterated for human safety.

Adewale mentioned in his speech that people don’t need to wait for government to do everything for them and that 'Cleanliness is next to Godliness'. He also urged the youths to contribute their quota to the environment in any way they can. He revealed that his own contribution is the market cleaning he is doing with the assistance of his friends.

"There is Malaria, Typhoid, Cholera and lots of diseases even currently Ebola Virus Disease, we just need to clean our environment to make it a safe place for us, Prevention is better than cure", he said.

To spice up the exercise the #IceBucketChallenge was performed for him.
